General Terms and Conditions for Service Contracting
Cotiza y Viaja is an agency specializing in the design, advisory, coordination, intermediation, and management of domestic and international travel experiences.
The agency acts exclusively as an intermediary between the client and various travel service providers, such as hotels, airlines, tour operators, transport companies, cruise lines, activity providers, insurance companies, travel assistance providers, and other national or international suppliers involved in the travel experience.
Services provided by Cotiza y Viaja consist of advisory, planning, itinerary design, management, coordination, booking, intermediation, and administrative assistance related to contracting travel services provided by third parties.
Cotiza y Viaja does not directly operate lodging, air, ground, or maritime transportation, tours, excursions, or tourist activities; therefore, such services are the direct responsibility of each final provider contracted.
Cotiza y Viaja operates under a boutique model focused on quality, personalized attention, close guidance, and strategic travel experience design. The agency prioritizes:
As part of this service model, Cotiza y Viaja may offer reasonable on-destination support, general guidance, and last-minute travel recommendations when circumstances allow, without implying direct liability for services operated by third parties.
The client acknowledges and accepts that the prices offered by the agency do not necessarily aim to compete with mass platforms, automated booking engines, or temporary third-party promotions, as they include added value in expertise, advisory, travel design, support, administrative management, and professional accompaniment.
Price differences with other operators, agencies, websites, or platforms may exist due to:
Cotiza y Viaja does not guarantee having the lowest rate in the market nor does it perform price matching. However, it may attempt to present a similar proposal upon written evidence of a prior quote.
Only services explicitly described in writing within the corresponding quote, confirmation, itinerary, or receipt shall be considered included.
Any service not expressly specified shall be considered NOT included, including but not limited to:
The client is responsible for carefully reviewing every quote and validating the included services before making any payment.
All rates, spaces, and reservations are subject to availability and change without notice until the corresponding payment has been made, processed, and confirmed by the final provider.
No service will be considered guaranteed until formal confirmation is issued by the agency or the corresponding provider.
Payments made by the client intended for accommodation, tours, activities, transportation, cruises, ground services, or other travel services operated by third parties will be applied in accordance with the commercial policies, availability, rate conditions, change policies, and cancellation rules of each final provider.
The client acknowledges and accepts that certain payments managed by Cotiza y Viaja correspond to funds destined for third-party travel service providers and do not constitute direct income for the agency, except for fees, administrative charges, advisories, travel design, coordination, management, or commissions expressly indicated in the corresponding quote or receipt.
Depending on the supplier and type of contracted rate, certain payments may be:
Cancellations, changes, modifications, and refunds are subject exclusively to the specific policies and conditions of each final provider.
Cotiza y Viaja does not guarantee full or partial refunds in case of cancellation due to personal decisions by the client, causes beyond the agency's control, or situations outside the suppliers' control.
Any cancellation or modification may generate:
Processing times for refunds depend exclusively on the involved suppliers and corresponding financial institutions.
Fees for agency advisory, planning, itinerary design, management, coordination, and administrative services may be non-refundable once the operational process, advanced quoting, booking, or confirmation of services has begun.
All travel experiences designed by Cotiza y Viaja consider the recommendation and inclusion of travel insurance with cancellation coverage, subject to the conditions of the corresponding insurance carrier.
For cancellation coverage to be valid and applicable under covered reasons within the policy, the insurance must be contracted and paid on the exact same day the client makes the initial travel deposit or reservation payment.
The client acknowledges and accepts that purchasing or declining travel insurance is a voluntary and personal decision.
In the event that the client decides not to purchase said insurance or fails to make the corresponding payment within the required timeframe to activate coverage, Cotiza y Viaja shall be released from any responsibility related to cancellations, refunds, financial losses, or claims arising from any circumstance, including but not limited to:
Any refund request will be subject exclusively to the cancellation policies of the suppliers and, where applicable, the coverage terms of the contracted insurance provider.
The client is responsible for obtaining all necessary documentation for their trip, including:
Management, guidance, or advisory provided by Cotiza y Viaja does not guarantee the approval of visas, entry permits, or travel authorizations, as such decisions rest solely with competent government authorities.
The client is likewise responsible for verifying:
Cotiza y Viaja agency will request official identification to verify the correct spelling of passengers' full names.
Cotiza y Viaja shall not be held liable for acts, omissions, cancellations, delays, itinerary changes, overbookings, operational closures, missed connections, natural phenomena, government orders, social unrest, accidents, losses, thefts, injuries, immigration status issues, or any situation directly or indirectly attributable to final travel service providers or causes beyond the reasonable control of the agency.
Assistance provided by the agency during the trip constitutes operational support and reasonable guidance within the offered boutique service model.
By making any advance payment, bank transfer, partial payment, or final balance settlement, the client confirms having read, understood, and accepted these terms and conditions in their entirety.
